FlavienBétrisey

Entrepreneur since 2018. I sell online, build websites and software with AI, and co-founded Realtis. Sometimes I sign up for 250 km stage races. Nobody asked me to.

Realtis.
The CRM agents run from a chat.

With Maeva and Ivan Pozzoni, two real-estate agents in Crans-Montana, we built the CRM agents simply talk to. They type or say what they need, Realtis does it inside the CRM, and it answers buyer inquiries on its own. Live since October 2026, on the web, the App Store and Google Play.

Born in a real agency. Tested on real agents, a famously patient species. My part: the product and the engineering, written with Claude Code, and the growth: paid ads and cold email.

2012 → 2026 · the CV, short version

Eight years of selling.
No boss to blame.

  1. Flavien Bétrisey on a train platform at night, business school years in Sion2012 → 2016

    Business school, Sion

A CFC (Swiss commercial diploma) and an MPC (commercial vocational baccalaureate) at the École de commerce de Sion, plus an internship in the City of Sion's finance department. First lesson in budgets: someone always wants more.

  2. 2016 → 2018

    The bridge year, then HEC

A university bridge year at École PrEP, then two semesters of economics at HEC Lausanne. Long enough to learn supply and demand. Then I left to go and practise it.

  3. Flavien Bétrisey working on a laptop in a diner at night, starting in e-commerce in 20182018

    Started from zero

I taught myself e-commerce and paid advertising. No money, no network, a dangerous amount of confidence.

  4. Flavien Bétrisey carrying a shipping parcel, running his online stores2018 → 2020

    CHF 4M in two years

I founded 67 ECOM and sold through my own Shopify stores and brands across Europe, the UK and the US. Ads, creatives, influencers: tested fast, sometimes two or three new stores a day. Most died young. The survivors paid for the funerals.

  5. Flavien Bétrisey in sunglasses in front of screens of pixel-art portraits2021 → 2022

    CHF 3.5M in five months

An NFT project. Yes, NFTs: it was 2021 and everyone was a genius. I steered the whole thing: the developers on the smart contract, the artists on the art, the marketing, and a team of more than 20.

  6. Flavien Bétrisey walking on a lake jetty at dusk, websites and brands2022 → 2026

    Brands, a studio, 100+ websites

New brands of my own, a virtual home-staging service for real-estate agencies, and 67 Web Studio, which builds websites and online stores for companies. Lesson learned: the client always wants the logo bigger.

  7. Flavien Bétrisey driving at night with POPI, his Pomeranian2026

    Realtis

Co-founded with two real-estate agents. I run the product, the engineering and the growth. Live since October. Our first client is our own agency, which makes the support calls slightly awkward.

A few examples

Some of my work.
The ones still alive.

More than 100 sites and stores since 2018. Most belonged to clients, some of my brands died young (RIP). Here are five still online, no life support needed. Hover to wake them up.

Business & life · the playbook

Seven rules.
Like CR7.

Seven, not eight: Real Madrid fan since I could kick a ball, and the 7 is Cristiano's. None of this is a lecture. It's what cost me money, time and a few toenails.

  1. 01

    Think distribution first.

Before the idea, ask how people will find it. Every business of mine that worked started with the channel, not the product: who sees it, where, and why they would care in three seconds. A brilliant product nobody sees is an expensive hobby. I've had a few of those too.

  2. 02

    There's always a hack.

“Everything has already been done” is a myth. Context changes everything: nobody else was building a CRM you run from a chat, for Swiss real estate, with two agents in the room. Learn the few numbers that really drive the business, list every lever, and find the one nobody uses. Every business I launched had one.

  3. 03

One obsession. The rest is routine.

I once tried to do triathlon, ultras, an Ironman and a business launch at the same time. My head said no. You can't be the best at everything, so pick one thing to think about. Business gets the head; training gets a routine. I pick my races a month before, not a year, so they never live in my head.

  4. 04

    Small decisions, big moves.

Lives aren't changed by big choices. They're changed by small, easy ones, repeated every day until they add up. The one you make today feels like nothing, and that's exactly the trap. Requiem for a Dream makes the point better than any business book. Scarier, too.

  5. 05

One aid station at a time.

Km 20 in Jordan, 230 to go, brain in full panic. So I stopped thinking about 250 and asked one question: can I reach the next aid station, 8 km away, even walking? Yes. Then the next one. Five days later, I was at the finish. Also works for business.

  6. 06

    Failing is a blessing.

When things went too well, I got comfortable and stopped learning. The people who struggle keep learning, every single day, and it compounds. So when they finally win, they win bigger and they keep it. Struggle isn't the opposite of success; it's the tuition.

  7. 07

    God wants you to succeed.

Whatever your god is: God, the universe, compound interest. Every time I went all in, with the money, the time and the head, it worked. Every time I held back, it didn't. Know when to pivot and when to push through. Just don't quit halfway.

Bonus · no number, the 7 is taken

Veritas filia temporis.

Truth is the daughter of time.

While you're in the middle of it, everyone has an opinion on what you're doing. Keep doing the right things and let time do the arguing. As the French say: the musicians get paid at the end of the ball.

Off the clock

I paid to run 250 km.
Twice.

  • 250km per race
  • 5days
  • 2races: Jordan, then Tanzania

How it started

In 2022 I barely ran. My entire running CV: one Sierre-Zinal. I needed to prove something, and my friend Robin Fournier, a.k.a. El Manipulator, told me Ultra X Jordan was “manageable”.

He finished second. Since then: 23rd at UTMB, and in September 2026 he won the 400 km SwissPeaks. Manageable, for him.

For me it was manageable until kilometre 25. After that: pure suffering. So, naturally, the next year I signed up for Tanzania.

km 25 → 250Pure suffering.

The voice in my head · every single day

“Isa ain't raise no b***h.”

Isa is my mum. Rain, a bad day, a good excuse: same answer every time.

Also: triathlon, and strength training. By the way, 150+ kg on the bench. Nobody asked. Again.

Rankings

Things I'd defend
in a bar fight.

I rank everything: films, series, books. One line each on why, because nobody reads more than one line.

  1. InterstellarRelativity, black holes, and I'm a Nolan fan. One hour on that planet = seven years here. Roughly the ratio between learning Realtis and learning a classic CRM.
  2. The Wolf of Wall Street“Mmm-mmm. Mmm-mmm.” Thump, thump. “Mmm-mmm. Mmm-mmm.” Thump, thump.
  3. Inglourious BasterdsBrad Pitt's “Buongiorno” is exactly my level of Italian.
  4. The Social NetworkI hate Zuckerberg every time he blocks my ad account. The rest of the time: huge admiration.
  5. The Gentlemen“There's only one rule in this f***ing jungle: when the lion's hungry, he eats.”
  6. Gladiator“My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius.”
  7. Dune: Part TwoPaul Atreides' rise: arrives as a guest, leaves running the planet. Founder energy.
  8. OppenheimerA perfect film. Nothing to add.
  9. TenetThe most underrated film ever made. If you didn't get it, watch it backwards.
  10. HeatThe reason this website is blue.
  11. The MatrixWithout Heat, this website would be green.
  12. The OdysseyI cried when he found his dog. POPI, if you're reading this: no comment.
  13. Django UnchainedCalvin Candie's dinner speech, skull in hand: still the scariest sales presentation ever filmed.
  14. InceptionStill not sure the top fell.
  15. The DepartedMark Wahlberg insulting everyone, all film long. Peak cinema.
  16. The Return of the KingHonestly, all three Lord of the Rings films. But I had to pick one.
  17. The Count of Monte CristoDidn't know the story. Now I understand why a good revenge plan takes fourteen years.
  18. Lone SurvivorA true story. Watch it, and your daily problems, and your whole life, fall back into proportion.
  19. The Big ShortBusiness, explained with humour. And with Margot Robbie in a bathtub.
  20. ClickMy actual favourite. Adam Sandler is a genius and I will not be taking questions.
  21. Avengers: Infinity WarI love the whole Marvel saga. Had to pick one. *snap*
  22. American GangsterDenzel Washington, and a true story. That's the review.
  23. Gone GirlOne plot twist and the whole film flips.
  24. First ManAnother true story. I clearly like real people doing unreasonable things.
  25. Top Gun: MaverickMade me want to fly a plane. I settled for running through a desert.
  26. Goodfellas“Funny how? Funny like a clown? I amuse you?”
  27. The Grand Budapest HotelI didn't think I'd like it. It's a perfect film. Sorry, Wes.
  28. Requiem for a DreamWatched it once. Once was enough.
  29. The Girl with the Dragon TattooThe Fincher one, obviously. Dark, violent, perfect for a Sunday.
  30. MoneyballData beats gut feeling. Every single time.
  31. War DogsTwo friends, a 50/50 deal and a Pentagon contract. What could possibly go wrong?
  32. American MadeTom Cruise flying for the CIA and a cartel at the same time. The ultimate side hustle.
